The Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method is a medically designed protocol that promotes weight loss while sparing muscle mass. Dr. Tran Tien Chanh, MD PhD, developed the weight loss method in France over 20 years ago. Dr. Tran focused his career and research on nutrition with a particular emphasis on the treatment of obesity and obesity related issues.

The Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method is a 4-Phase method that encourages pancreas and blood sugar levels stabilization while burning fat and maintaining muscle and other lean tissue.

As such, Davey Drug Mart is an approved Ideal Protein establishment with an on location expert to guide the dieter through the program. This valuable process serves to educate and encourage the dieters with a consistent method that is scientifically proven and deemed by most as easy to execute and maintain.

Consultation & Goal Planning

In our initial meeting we discuss your weight loss goals and come up with a plan to attain these. The Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method is straightforward and easy to understand. You’ll find it quickly becomes a new lifestyle and an enjoyable way to eat. The personal support you receive along the way will help build the foundation you need in order to maintain your healthy weight going forward. Please fill out the Health Profile Form below so we can better understand your personal needs at our initial meeting! The initial consult fee is $229 for individuals and $350 for couples. Follow the link below to register and pay directly online. During Phase 1, the weekly Ideal Protein food cost averages $100/week. There is also an initial vitamin fee of approx $90. People who choose to follow the IP recipe books find food cost will be slightly higher than this.  Many of our clients find that the reduction of the unnecessary items in their regular grocery bill makes up for the Ideal Protein food costs in Phase 1.

Weekly Meetings & Support

As an Ideal Protein client, you will receive weekly one-on-one support throughout each phase until you transition into Phase 4.  The initial consult fee covers the following: a 1 hour initial consult meeting, weekly appointments with your coach (Phase 1-3) and an initial consult meeting when entering Phase 4 (lifestyle/maintenance). Followed by: Phase 4 weekly appointments (Month 1), Phase 4 bi-weekly appointments (Months 2&3), and Phase 4 monthly appointments (Months 4-12). If, due to work, you cannot make weekly meetings, we can arrange for a different schedule to keep you focused on your weight loss success. One of the keys to your success - both while losing weight or maintaining it - is the weekly support you’ll receive from your personal coach. Your coach is there to help you set and reach your weight loss goal. They will always be there to answer your questions and keep you on track. You will meet with your coach weekly for encouragement, tips and advice, plus valuable feedback so that your time with us is both effective and enjoyable.
